Chicks Who Shred is heading back to Japan — and we want you to join us. This is a community camp built for women who want to ride hard, chase pow, eat some glorious food, and share it all with a crew of like-minded people.

Think face shots, ramen stops, onsens, and all the best parts of a Japan trip, wrapped up in one unforgettable week hosted by Butter Inn and Chicks Who Shred.

This isn't about sitting on the sidelines. It's about getting amongst it — on the mountain, and everywhere in between — with a community of women who get it.
 

Who This Camp Is For

This camp is designed for intermediate to advanced riders. You should be comfortable linking turns across varied terrain and keen to push yourself further, whether that's into the trees, off-piste, or just further afield than you'd go solo.

We're not a ski school. We won't be running lessons or lift-line drills — but our hosts are experienced riders who know these mountains, and where the opportunity's there, they'll happily share tips and tricks along the way. This camp is about riding together AND making some unforgettable experiences!
 

Your Hosts

This trip is hosted by four Chicks Who Shred riders who know Japan and know how to bring a group together on the mountain:

• Zoe Kalapos – USA Olympic Half Pipe Rider

• Madeline McVie – Ski Racer, Boot Footer and all-round hype queen (she just needs to be in bed by 10pm). She is also the resident Japan expert as she is been there like over 15 times!

• Milla Grattan – Freeride Tour Athlete and Freeski Coach + Apres Queen

• Jasmine Salveson – Camp Co-ordinator and boss lady

They'll be with you every day — showing you around the mountain, keeping the group moving, and making sure everyone's having the time of their life.
 

What's Included

Your ¥504,000 total cost per participant covers:

• DORM STYLE ACCOMMODATION WITH CHICKS WHO SHRED PARTICIPANTS

• PREMUIM rentals

• Lift passes – 5 day all access Hakuba Valley lift passes

• SNOW MONKEY TOUR AND DAY TRIP TO NAGANO !!!

• Private transfers between resorts and dinner locations

• Private transfer to and from HAKUBA TRAIN STATION/BUS TERMINAL on arrival and departure

• Butter Inn Hosts at the location to help with any needs (HELLO 7/11 RUNS)

• 4 group dinners at local Japanese restaurants

• HOME COOKED Breakfast EVERY MORNING and 2 x home cooked Dinners (THANK YOU KELLY)– lunch and any alcohol is up to you! We will have some light afternoon snacks available each day as well, HOWEVER, IF YOU GET EXTRA PEAKISH POST-RIDING, THERE WILL BE OPPORTUNITIES TO HEAD TO 7/11 for any extra munchies AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE. 

• Daily guided shredding with your Chicks Who Shred hosts IN THE AM, AND FREETIME /UNGUIDED RIDING IN THE AFTERNOON

• Access to google drive of all pics from the camp (we love a good Instagram post)

Camp Requirements

• Riding level: Intermediate to advanced riders only

• Travel insurance: All participants are required to organise their own comprehensive travel insurance, covering snow sports, before the trip

• Flights: Participants are responsible for booking their own flights to and from Japan

• UPON BOOKING, WE WILL CONTACT YOU WITH A FORM TO FILL OUT AND SEND YOU THE ITINERARY 

• ALL GUESTS WILL SIGN A WAIVER PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE CAMP
   

Pricing & Deposit

Total cost per participant: ¥504,000 

A 30% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking to secure your spot. Spaces are limited, so we recommend booking early. YOU WILL BE BILLED THE OUTSTANDING AMOUNT ON THE 16TH OF DECEMBER. 

PLEASE NOTE: CHICKS WHO SHRED DOES NOT HANDLE ANY BOOKINGS, THAT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF BUTTER INN. THIS CAMP IS RUN BY BUTTER INN BUT HOSTED BY CHICKS WHO SHRED.
